Prices, invoices and payment

You pay an hourly rate per worker, plus VAT, for the hours you approve. Nothing is paid upfront.

In short

Gangal Go charges an hourly rate per worker plus VAT, set by your start date, booking length and weekly hours. No payment is taken when you request staff. Each invoice is built from the timesheets you approved, and you pay it by bank transfer.

How the price is set

  • One hourly rate per worker. It covers the worker’s wages, holiday pay, employer National Insurance and pension. Gangal Recruitment Ltd employs the worker, so there is no payroll for you to run.
  • The rate depends on your booking. How soon you start, how many weeks you book and the weekly hours per worker decide the rate. A start date within 48 hours is always short notice. The full table is on pricing.
  • Night shifts (22:00 to 06:00) add £2.50 per hour to the charge rate. Tick “Night shift” in the calculator and it is shown on your price.
  • Minimum shift: 4 hours.
  • VAT is added at the standard rate and shown separately on every quote and invoice.
  • Nothing upfront. No payment is taken when you request staff, and if we cannot cover your request you are not charged.

By law, workers aged 21 and over must be paid at least the National Living Wage, £12.71 an hour from April 2026. A lower rate tier never reduces what the worker is paid.

A worked example

Two office cleaners, 4 hrs a day, Monday to Friday, for 6 weeks, starting in two weeks. That qualifies as a Regular booking.

Example quote from the calculator, before any changes to the booking
RateRegular, per worker per hour£18.75
Booked time2 workers × 4 hrs × 5 days × 6 weeks240 hrs
Subtotal240 hrs × £18.75£4,500.00
VATStandard rate£900.00
TotalFor the whole booking£5,400.00

You are invoiced week by week for hours actually worked and approved. A full week here is 40 hrs: £750.00 plus £150.00 VAT, so £900.00. If a cleaner finishes early one day, the shorter clocked hours are what you approve and pay for.

What the invoice shows

  • Invoices are issued weekly, by Wednesday, for the previous Monday-to-Sunday working week.
  • Each one is built from the timesheets approved in your client portal. Hours you have not disputed within 48 hours are treated as accepted (Hirer Terms clause 4.3). Hours you flagged are not billed until they are sorted out.
  • It shows an invoice number, the hours and rate, the subtotal, VAT and the total due.
  • It shows the date to pay by and our bank details.
  • You can open every invoice under Invoices in your portal, see which are outstanding and which are paid, and print or save each one as a PDF.

If you think an invoice is wrong, tell us in writing straight away. Clause 6.5 of the Hirer Terms gives 3 business days to raise it, and the part that is not in dispute stays due on the original date.

How to pay

  • By bank transfer. Use the bank details printed on the invoice.
  • Reference: the invoice number, so we can match your payment.
  • When: payment is due by the date printed on your invoice.

We do not take card payments or direct debits for invoices. Questions about an invoice: support@gangalrecruitment.com or a message in your portal.

Ending a discounted booking early

Standard, Regular and Contract rates depend on the length of booking you commit to. If you end one of those bookings before the booked period, the hours already worked are re-charged at the short-notice rate of £20.50/hr + VAT, and the difference is added to your next invoice. Hours not worked are not charged. Exceptions and the full wording are in clause 11.1A.

Contract bookings run past 12 weeks. From week 13, rates may be reviewed if equal-treatment rules require higher pay. The Agency Workers Regulations explainer sets out why.
